I have some questions....
I don't have a PBX at all at the moment....
This is the ideal time to go "the whole way" and sign up for a complete VoIP environment. Our hosted PBX options give you
all the functionality you will need from day one. You can start with a few extension and let the system grow as you grow.
At little or no additional cost. You will benefit from fantastic features a great price, as well as really cheap phonecalls.
Come on, sign up already!
Ok, but I DO have a PABX installed already.....
We understand that you have just signed a 5 year contract for an over priced traditional PABX system. It probably doesn't have
all the functionality you would have with a VoIP PBX, but it's no use crying over spilt milk. You can still save a lot of money
on your calls by interfacing your PABX with us. You save money on the calls, and will be able to reduce the number of traditional lines
you currently have, giving you a additional cost saving.
I don't think I need a PBX at the moment?
Whether it is because you mainly make outbound calls with no additional functions needed, or whether it's because
"it's just 3 of us in the office" - you may not need a PBX at all. Our "Almost PBX" option would be suitable for you.
Our hosted PBX is inexpensive, but not having on is still cheaper!
Who does what? Your IT people and us.....
Telephony based on VoIP has become an IT function. As per the "4 pillars" - the start is to ensure your internal network is properly configured.
Your IT support people are responsible for this. Typically we would liaise with them to ensure the best setup, but ultimately the connectivity
of your phones to our services falls outside of our tasks. Where we supplied equipment such as phones or gateways, your IT people are the first
point of call simply because 99% of possible issues are with the internal setup.
We are responsible for ensuring the service is running Whether that is a full on hosted PBX or just termination - we ensure that our services
are available, and if connectivity is supplied by us as well we are responsible for ensuring this is functioning (within the realms of our control
as for many parts we unfortunately still rely on Telkom)
Unless of course we happen to do your IT support as well, in which case we carry the burden of it all.........
